After all of the inspections were complete, they asked for a ridiculous amount in their request for repairs. The inspection didn’t raise any red flags and their were no major repairs that needed to be done to the house. A professional home buyer may come back and renegotiate the price if there are any major issues they missed during the first walk through, but more than likely they’ve already accounted for all of the repairs.

We ended up buying a house we didn’t really want because we did not want to cancel the sale of our house so we ended up buying something that we aren’t thrilled about. We know it’s temporary and we won’t be there long but if we were working with a professional home buyer we could have extended escrow and not worried about them cancelling the contract.
